In the recent road trip, the Mets have suffered many injuries including Carlos Beltran, Carlos Delgado, Jose Reyes, Ryan Church, and Alex Cora. Still, the Mets have continued to win, and just last night the Mets rose up to first place. Fernando Martinez, the number one prospect, was called up to the major leagues and is still trying to get his first hit. What's in store for the Mets, only time will tell.
Just when things couldn't have gotten any worse, word came out that Manny Ramirez got suspended 50 games for using performance enhancing drugs. Now arguably two of the best players in baseball, A-Rod and Manny, are known steroid users. I'm wondering three things
1. Was Manny's name on the 2003 test, that A-Rod's name was released from.
2. What type of drug did he use.
3. When will Selina Roberts, the author of the new A-Rod book, release a statement explaining how she knew this first, and gave the information to MLB.
This is a bad day for baseball fans, because now we all must admit that Jose Canseco was right, when he said that 4 out of 5 players are or were on steroids.
