Hey guys, I just met Hammerin Hank Aaron. Some people might think Mr. Aaron is stubborn, but I have to say that he was nice. Be sure to watch Saturday baseball on Fox. I'll be watching.
Yesterday was a weird day for baseball. Extra Innings, errors, etc. But if you didn't see the horrendous plays by Milton Bradely (Cubs) and Luis Castillo (Mets). Bradley dropped a fly ball, and threw a ball to a fan with only two outs. Castillo dropped a pop up in the bottom of the ninth to lose the game.
Hey New Yorkers, make sure to check out last licks in nyc on June 25th to meet Mets stars Bobby Parnell, Omir Santos, and John Maine. And on July 18th, meet Yankee star Brett Gardner.
Raul Ibanez has recently denied his use of steroids, and has said that his success this season is his own ability. I personally believe that it's impossible to do get better as you get older. You can work out and train as much as you want, but your body just doesn't allow this to happen.
Today was supposed to be the day when Randy Johnson attempted to get his 300th victory, but it looks like the game will be rained out. In other news, Tom Glavine, was released by the Braves. I don't think the 305 game winner will be picked up by any team. The Braves had a busy day, with Glavine's release, and the addition of, outfielder, Nate McLouth. And congratulations to Josh Beckett for being the most recent pitcher to almost pitch a no-hitter.
